Jozan rugs are produced in central western Persia. They share a lot of the characteristics of Sarouk rugs. They are generally made in small sizes. The weave is firm and regular, and most of The Designs are rather rustic interpretations of classical Persian designs. Warps and wefts are cotton, and the pile is wool. A wide range of colours is used but the rugs are always calm and restful in their effect.
